Taking influences from the Far East, the
‘Oriental Spa’ was developed as a concept by forward thinking clients as the
first of its kind in the UK.
The building houses various pools,
treatment facilities, gardens and contemplation spaces, the design of both
external shell and interior fit-out combining ancient oriental thinking within
the confines of current regulations. The leisure, well-being and restaurant
facilities are allied to the award winning Seaham Hall Hotel, one of the
regions highest rated Hotel and Restaurants, linking via an underground walkway
though which both a stream of water, and residents flow.

Built adjacent to the Tees
Barrage, the building serves the white water slalom course. Planned on three levels, the accommodation
provides canoe and raft hire, café, retail outlet, public changing and toilets.

swimming pool, 4 court sports hall, fitness and dance studios, crèche, soft

| The Alnwick Treehouse, Alnwick Gardens, Northumberland |

The
£3 million award winning Treehouse in Alnwick opened in 2005 and is an
inspirational structure on an unprecedented scale set within the mature woodland
of Alnwick Garden. It provides a unique treetop experience for garden visitors
and provides facilities for education, playing, dining and drinking. The
restaurant includes a kitchen, and open log fire, seating for up to 80 people,
a second level for private functions and a roof top walk.

Napper Architects’ were commissioned by Northumberland Estates to masterplan, design & co-ordinate a package of small projects within the castle demise aimed at offering the visitor a number of new attractions, thereby improving the interpretation of the castle’s history and overall visitor experience. In addition to a number of new live, interactive and multi-media exhibits, improved facilities include a new shop, fast food, restaurant, banqueting hall, conference & events spaces.

North Dock, Seaham Harbour.

The scheme comprises 12 workshop / office units with a café facility together with associated hard landscaping. The workshops, office and café are part of the £2.4million first phase regeneration works for the listed North Dock at Seaham Harbour, which also includes the provision of lock gates and pontoon marina. The project is due to commence on site in 2008.

centre infill site development provides a restaurant, bars and offices situated in
Newcastle's City Centre. The Pacific Bar is a new leisure development located in the heart of Newcastle's town centre. It comprises of a ground and first floor bar and restaurant space with offices above.

Dalton Park Phase 2, County Durham

Masterplan
and scheme design for the phase 2 extension to the recently completed factory retail
shopping village. The proposals include
a multiplex cinema, family entertainment centre, associated A1 and A3 outlets,
hotel, family pub and petrol filling station.
The scheme is expected to go to planning in 2008.

The
design, in addition to radical remodelling within the existing fabric, involved
removing substaintial unsightly additions and providing new suites and service
accommodation, some of which was around a newly created internal courtyard.
