Stella South, Gateshead
The master planning of this 16 hectare area, on the south side of the river Tyne, was the first stage in the regeneration of the brownfield site of the former Stella South Power Station. This new 500 home housing development breathes new life back into an otherwise neglected and historically important area.
The scheme whilst being responsive to existing site constraints, maximises development potential taking on board the latest best practice guidance documentation and 'By Design' principles.
