Far Moor Bridge, Yorkshire
|
|
The Far
Moor bridge design proposals were prepared in response to a limited design competition
prepared by the Yorkshire Dales National Parks Authority in conjunction with
National trails.
The design looks at
providing an elegant simplified structural solution utilizing a CORTEN steel
structure and employs salvaged timber which has a natural connection with its
surroundings. The patina, effectively ‘rust’ coloured, weathers and changes
with the seasons and possesses an almost timeless quality.
